🕹️ Hunter and the Amazing Remote Control Summer Camp
This dynamic group uses the Hunter and the Amazing Remote Control curriculum to teach self-regulation, emotional control, and problem-solving through storytelling, role-play, and creative activities.
Children learn how to use their “remote control buttons” to manage daily challenges:

Channel Changer – Tune out distractions

Pause – Think and create a plan

Fast Forward – Think before acting

Rewind – Shift from past mistakes to future success

Slow Motion – Slow down and manage stress

Coach – Solve problems with guidance

Zapper – Dismiss negative thoughts

Way to Go! – Use positive self-talk
WHO: Children ages 6–12 with ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, or difficulty with self-regulation and attention
WHAT: A fun, story-based group where kids learn to manage emotions, stay focused, and build self-control using the Hunter and the Amazing Remote Control program. Activities include storytelling, games, art, role-play, and group discussions around remote control “buttons” like Pause, Fast Forward, and Coach.
When: Daily, June 23rd-27th from 9am-12pm.
Ages: Ideal for rising 2nd–5th graders
Social Skills Group
A creative and collaborative group where children work together to build LEGO models—developing essential social and communication skills along the way.
In each session, kids will practice:

Turn-taking and teamwork

Flexible thinking and problem-solving

Emotional regulation and frustration tolerance

Verbal and non-verbal communication
WHO: Children ages 6–14 with social/behavioral challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, or Social Pragmatic Communication Disorder
WHAT: A creative, collaborative group where kids work together using LEGO® to practice social skills like turn-taking, communication, perspective-taking, following rules, and teamwork. Sessions include structured builds, problem-solving, and snack/lunch social time to support real-world interaction.
When: Daily, June 23rd-27th from 1pm-3:30pm.
Ages: Ideal for rising 2nd–6th graders
